Hey there, I'm Eduardo, and welcome to The SoCal Transiteer!

I founded this student-led news group in order to better cover transit developments in Los Angeles, and all of Southern California as a whole. We focus on covering new expansions to the L.A. Metro system, events, trip ideas and everything transit in SoCal. We're also active public advocates, and we support the development of various transit projects, Transit-Oriented Development, urbanist and safer streets initiatives.

In our blog, you'll find insider analysis of planning documents, behind-the-scenes pictures of under-construction expansions, and transit-accessible trip ideas. You'll also find cool facts and history lessons, from the development of our current system, to the Red Cars of years past, as well as rare sightings of buses or trains.
